The Challenges
As part of its relocation from Bluewater Island to JBR, Cove Beach faced the unique challenge of operating in close proximity to residential buildings and neighbouring venues. The new location required a comprehensive acoustic design to balance vibrant entertainment with the tranquillity expected in the surrounding environment.
The Solutions

Acoustic Loudspeaker Enclosures & Subwoofer Bunkers: To direct sound precisely where needed while minimizing spillage.
Acoustic Glass Sliding Windows: For aesthetic and functional sound containment.
In addition, Diatone conducted detailed on-site acoustic measurements, including tests in residential apartments, to set and adhere to agreed sound limits. The result was an acoustic environment that balanced vibrant venue performance with respect for the surrounding community.
