The Challenges

Coterie, a dynamic sports bar located in Ibn Battuta Mall, faced significant challenges with echo and reverberation within its indoor space. One side of the venue featured large glass windows facing the football ground, while the other surfaces were hard and reflective, leading to a long reverberation time that impacted the acoustics and overall guest experience

The Solutions

Diatone was entrusted with crafting a bespoke acoustic solution tailored to the venue’s specific requirements. Our solution included:

Custom Acoustic Wall Absorbers: Diatone designed and installed fabric-covered wall absorbers, strategically positioned to improve sound clarity and reduce echo within the space.

Seamless Acoustic Panels: Tailored acoustic absorbers were installed on the bulkhead to minimize sound reflections from the ceiling and bulkhead design, further enhancing the room acoustics.

These integrated solutions not only addressed the reverberation issues but also elevated the overall acoustic environment, ensuring that Coterie offers an immersive, vibrant atmosphere for its guests.
